If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love music, movies, television, podcasts, and all other forms of media and entertainment. Hulu and Spotify are subjects of a great deal of my free time. And a habit I used to have is rating or ranking certain albums, movies, TV series, and things of the like. I had a journal freshman year of college dedicated to movie and TV reviews. It was a great way to spend my time when I didn’t want to do homework. And I still like the idea of jotting down the media you consume and your thoughts about it. So, I created a little entertainment journal template for fun, again using Canva, so I can take up this hobby once more.
I had a fantastic time making it, and this sort of stuff is always fun to look back on. Especially when certain albums or movies remind you of a certain time or season in your life. There are still certain songs I listen to that I remember when I first discovered and came to love them. I still associate certain albums, movies, and TV shows with certain places, people, and moments in time. And I love that, I think it’s so neat to have those associations. And I think it’s especially remarkable that those associations are different for each person. It only goes to show how nuanced we all are.
And when it comes to media and entertainment, we’ll all have different perspectives and opinions about what we see and hear. And that’s alright. It’s fun to talk about. So here’s this little journal I made. Thought I’d share:
